ROLE SUMMARY:
Member of the AP Logistics team
Drive Transportation Strategy in AP, aligning with the Shift in Supply Chain model.
Study & identify gaps in Processes, and implement industry
Best Practices for efficiencies & Productivity.
Manage & Monitor Operations, to achieve Top 3 KPI’s in the region, and design systems for exception handling.
Analyse modes of transportation, material flows, etc to identify areas of productivity
Drive performance through structured & effective MBR’s / QBR’s.
Collaborate with Country Logistics to enable Business transactions.Achieve & improve Key Functional metrics.
Manage & Develop strong relationship with logistics service providers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge / Skills
15 years+ of Work Experience related to AP international Transportation.
Should be working in organisations who are strong players in the industry (K&N, UPS, DBS, etc).
Should have worked in a AP role, with coverage of major countries (Australia, India, Singapore) in addition to PRC.
Have exposure to both air & Ocean movement of goods.
University of equivalent degree in supply chain or Logistics.
Preferably should have worked in a SAP environment.
Should be analytical in approach.
Have working knowledge related to Import /Export & Trade Compliance.
Good English conversational & writing skills.
