Primary Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for identifying, developing and qualifying suppliers in China and ROA and ensure on-time execution of projects by close cooperation with Asian technology, quality and EHS team.
- Track and monitor performance of scheduled components on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Understand product component availability, risks, issues that may affect finished product capacity/availability
- Understand capacity by model and identify opportunities to handle potential increase
- Act as the communication conduit between suppliers with US team making the US team aware of issues and help deal with and mitigate issue
- Proactively take actions to meet cost, quality and availability objectives.
Qualifications Required:
- BS Engineering or Management
- Experience in Electrical Mechanism Device (EMD) and related components, or similar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin) – Proficiency computer skills
- Self-starter and result-oriented
- Good team player and quick learner
- Willing to Travel and join evening calls
