Our Client is an international German Consumer Goods Company currently looking for a high potential Head of E-commerce based out of Shanghai.
1. Tasks:
- Define China markets e-commerce growth strategies (Own, Direct, Indirect) together with all brands headquarters & global e-commerce to address local market growth opportunities: roadmap, ecommerce platforms, key business drivers and targets.
- Directly supervise and manage brand e-commerce team to ensure sales and profitability results of Own E-Commerce.
- Set up and track KPIs across different functions and brands.
- Accountable for developing and integrating the e-commerce operation strategies: Product assortment, digital marketing, inventory management, data analytics, IT systems, Consumer Service and etc.
- Market research of online (offline) consumers to identify the most efficient consumer communication channels
- Identify the consumer preference among different platforms in order to develop the effective strategy to approach those consumers
- Coordinate with internal and external support services to successfully implement the roadmap, manage and negotiate with external partners.
- Integrate E-commerce business models for Brand Portfolio, drive synergy.
- Ensure alignment with all B2C/B2B strategies, coordinate with brands key partner.
2. Working Experience:
- Approx. 5 years work experience in digital marketing business, with at least 2 years in Ecommerce related responsibility in China
- Demonstrated exposure in dynamic development and on-time delivery within quality and budget
- Strong online and e-commerce project management skills
- Deep functional skill in all aspects of e-commerce and digital marketing of China market.
- Proven experience in developing, executing campaigns & promotions to drive traffic and sales in China E-commerce business
- Demonstrate strong understanding of China E-commerce and digital business. Proven experience in working with YHD, JD, Tmall, Tencent, etc is a must.
- Proven experience in driving traffic and sales through partnering platforms and digital companies in China Ecommerce business.
- Proven experience in executing digital / e-business campaigns from scratch with structural and strategic approach.
- E-commerce Data analysis and technology savvy.
Proven experience in working on multiple media campaigns & promotional initiatives for a technology-enabled business will be a plus.
3. Language skills:
- Excellent English and Chinese communication skills. German advantage but not necessary.

- Ability to work well under pressure and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Excellent communication skills and professional manners
