Description
This position interfaces with the customer service team, manufacturing team, sales team and implements Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP).

? Review and continuously improve SOP and KPI, OTD , cooperate with SCM/Plant/Sales/Marketing/Finance to ensure smooth & on time delivery meanwhile interfaces with the customer service team, manufacturing team, sales team and implements Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP)
? Review and continuously improve customer performance, operation excellence.
? Track different kinds of report to rectify root cause and develop issue resolving process. Support BM business/commercial team on trouble shooting when necessary.
? Responsible for Planning working performance and coaching team members to achieve high performance

The individual directly reports to the China planning leader. All BM plant schedulers dotted-line report to the individual.

Responsibilities
1. Safety

Engaging himself/herself in safe working practices, promoting safety awareness and performance for self and others in all areas of responsibility to achieve full compliance with site and company standards and guidelines.

? Operate in a manner that promotes safe operations for ourselves, customers and vendors
? Actively participate in ongoing safety monitoring, training and discussions
? Embrace Owens Corning safety standards

Metrics
? Timely completion of OCU Safety Classes
? Safety metrics –first aids, near misses

2. Outsourcing asset scheduling

? Create monthly and weekly production plans and inventory plans that meet demand requirements per the S&OP Planning process
? Create and implement efficient master scheduling for both in-house product and out-sourcing finished goods in accordance with S&OP plan and time horizons.
? Utilize capacity analysis and customer service policies to govern schedules and inventory plans
? Generate master plans for multiple tolling assets, facilitating and allocating supply plan among outsourcing assets in accordance to S&OP plan
? Manage finished goods inventory level and inventory health
? Continuously improve the accountable master scheduling process and drive high performance
? Serve as the key interface with Tollers, sales, demand management, customer service, sourcing and logistics, marketing, quality and technical team for the purpose of satisfying customer requirements.
? Act as contact window in between Tollers and sales, customer service, logistics, quality and technical team in daily work
? Proactively interact with logistic and technical and customer service team, to resolve quality and service complaints.
? Maintain accurate data to support the master scheduling process (e.g. lead times, lot sizes, and other operating rules and conditions).

3. Material planning

Provide an efficient raw material planning for both in-house production and outsourcing finished goods

? Forecast raw material and packaging materials demand (3-6 month horizon), according to finish goods production plan, outsourcing strategy and other process qualification constraints.
? Forecast raw material / package material storage and distribution requirements (equipment and manpower).
? Lead resolution of short-term supply and demand imbalances for raw materials
? Plan for the raw material and packaging material procurement and supply —correct materials are procured at the correct time with the correct quality and in the correct quantity. Ensures timely availability of raw materials to meet production schedule
? Measure safety stock level for raw material
? Proactively interact with sourcing and logistic team, in conjunction with appropriate plant personnel, to resolve quality and service complaints
? Lead slow-moving raw material process; ensure all relevant process are updated per the root cause resolution
? Coordination of qualification of new raw material qualifications
? Maintain accurate raw material master data

4. Reporting and Analysis

? Generate business weekly huddle meeting report
? Conduct daily inventory reporting
? Support SAP/system project implementation in terms of resource planning, process reviewing, result testing and team training.
? In charge of the balance of the responsiveness and the manufacturing efficiency.
? Responsible for the development and implementation of the HOCO's production control functions including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, ship scheduling, and dispatching cooperating. Develops, implements, and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance (bill to production order reporting)



JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
? Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or business preferred
? Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain planning experience
? Specific experience in production scheduling and raw material planning
? Chemical industry working experience preferred
? Manufacturing experience preferred
? Inventory management and warehousing experience
? Ability to identify, act on, and lead continuous Improvement efforts
? SAP MPR experience
? Import/Export handling experience

Knowledge and Skills:

? Microsoft Applications and SAP / APO / BI(BW)
? Knowledge of manufacturing and tolling
? Knowledge of trading
? APICS CPIM Certification preferred
? Strongly demonstrated with critical, logical thinking skills
? Ability to handle multiple, complex tasks at once
? Comfort with mathematics and number manipulation
? Ability to conduct effective root-cause failure analyses, lead continuous Improvement efforts
? Result and action orientated and ability to self-engagement
? Teamwork Oriented - Self-starter who works with minimal supervision that balances multiple assignments
? Strong Oral & Written Communication Skills
? Good listening skills
? Strong capability in collaborating and fostering teamwork cross functions
