Synopsis:
Along with EF fast growth in the China market, we are looking for a talent to join us as the senior AP accountant in Shanghai shared-service finance center located at Jin An Temple.
The Role:
The senior AP accountant's role is to deal with all matters related to vendor payment of EF legal entities, reporting package design and payment process improvement.
You will:
- Improve and monitor AP process from internal / external compliance perspectives;
- Well collect vendor payment notice from different departments and branches;
- Verify each payment according to EF internal policies, basic accounting knowledge and local tax regulation;
- Reject unacceptable payment and well communicate with requester and keep records accordingly;
- Process AP booking in finance system;
- Make sure payments to be processed on time and accurately;
- Follow up with the payment status and prepare bank reconciliation;
- Monitor and reconcile each AP cycle to ensure that the payment deadline is met and get the correct statistic information for each AP cycle.
- Well communicate any issues with payment requester and make sure EF internal policies be well implemented;
- Design payment reporting package;
- Assist AP manager to further enhance the policy compliance and operation efficiency;
- Deal with the internal / external / tax audit in terms of payment process.
You have/are:
Bachelor degree or above and majored in accounting and economic.
More than 4 years' related working experience on accounts payable position at a multinational company. Shared service center \ team leader is plus.
High responsibility and teamwork spirit! Be a good team player and can work independently and under pressure.
Be familiar with MS office software.
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
