岗位职责:

Responsibilities:
? Provide educational programs and hands on training in HIS to increase efficiency of operations and supply of knowledgeable personnel.
? Ensure consistent HIS related practices in BJC, while appropriately customizing each individual and the department within to meet the needs of its medical and administrative staff
? Provide on call service to end user and teammate after work, and can be on site when the situation is critical
? Liaise with similar organizations, vendors, and governmental and regulatory bodies for the purpose of compliance and exchange of experience and data to measure and improve productivity in HIS.
? Participate with other clinical and management senior staff in strategic planning regarding information provision in BJC.
? Ensure the provision of all monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports as appropriate, either through the standard system or internally customized reports to authorized internal and external customers.
? Coordinate a collaborative process for the development of policies and procedures related to HIS
? Monitor the health care landscape for best practices, effective systems and technology and recommend and facilitate their adoption in BJC.
? Assist with HIS Unit goals set up based on information strategic plan and departmental goals and monitor the goals
? Facilitate selection and implementation of health information system components and design and use of analytical methods to provide accessible clinical and managerial data for purposes of peer review, performance improvement, credentialing, decision support, and other institutional activities.
? Maintain interface with clinical staff and other personnel to ensure effective operation of the HIS; design systems and methods to make data more accurate, complete and accessible.
? Direct and coordinate the establishment of schedules, task assignments and allocation of man hours to assure compliance with departmental commitments; plan and conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established practices, to implement new policies and to keep employees abreast of current changes and standards.
? Determine budget requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
? Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Qualifications:
? A Bachelors degree in health information systems or sciences or other closely related discipline.
? At least 3 years HIS support or training experience, or 5 year HIS related work experience, medical related experience, doctor and nurse are preferred
