1. Purpose of the job:
Develop technical solutions or implement standard solutions and define and implement new product related projects in order to develop, implement and support the business objectives.
2. Major accountabilities:
2.1. Project definitionDefine the scope and deliverables of projects and analyse the impact in order to guarantee a clear insight into the needs and the goals to be achieved. These goals should support the strategic goals of the company.
2.2. Project team definitionDefine a project team and describe their function within the project.
2.3. Project planning & coordinationDraw up project plans (timing, allocation of resources, etc.) and harmonise and follow up the work performed by project employees in order to realise the required project within the predetermined timing, budget and deliverables. An estimate of workload of the different functions within the project needs to be performed to use as an input to the different resource managers (operational responsible for allocating the people resources linked to the proposed functions). The different resource managers will respond to the project manager so he/she is able to build a project resource planning.
2.4. Communication planA communication plan needs to be described on which time period which meetings and reports will be given or distributed.
2.5. Project reportingMonitor and report on all aspects of the project in order to ensure that the project meets the organisational requirements, the methodology and the quality standards. Examples are: management status report, risk reporting, issue reporting, exception reporting, task & planning status reporting…
2.6. Exception handlingAdapt the projects when necessary in order to deliver the project with a high quality and to maintain customer satisfaction. Herewith proposals will be given to the project board, that makes the decision
2.7. Experience and knowledge sharingBuild and share knowledge and experience internally and externally in order to leverage expertise and performance level of the team and the broader organization.Examples of activities: Make recommendations and needs to the project board and direct management as a result of actual projects· Be well-informed about the process evolutions and developments related to Hansen to ensure your credibility can be strengthened by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge. Identify and circulate best practices among other colleagues;Participate in fora and events· Sharing available tools

Team managementCoordinate, plan and steer departmental activities in order to reach the Hansen goals.Steer, develop and coach department/team members in order to maximise performance and stimulate people growth.Examples of activities:Make sure that the necessary resources are available on time in order to deliver the project on time and efficiently.· Review performance· Coach on regular basis· Set objectives· Communicate strategic goals· Coach and develop the project members in order to ensure that their competences, skills and know-how are used and developed in the best possible manner
At least 5 – 8 years of relevant experience
- Manages also inter-departmental projects, thus for overall key users.
- Manages also company wide projects
- Manages all kind of projects for all current or future products
