For CBTC projects managed by CASCO Beijing, where CASCO as main contractor in front of End User, and who is technically responsible of all URBALIS CTBC Project deployments in China, a local ATC application engineer is needed in order to secure the ATC activities along the deployment of those CBTC projects managed by CASCO Beijing, to ensure on-time delivery with the dedicated level of quality, safety and performance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Report to TIS China CBTC Project Manager, based in CASCO Beijing Office.
Network & Links:
. internal : 70 % CASCO ATC SSM, ATC data preparation, ATC I&V teams and T&C teams
                             ALSTOM PM&PrEM teams, ATC Engineering team, S&P team
. external : 30 % Metro Customers in China for ATC part and Rolling Stock supplier in China
                       
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Local coordination on ATC topics between CASCO project technical team, ALSTOM ATC Application Leader in Shanghai and PrEM & Platform & ATC system in Paris, to provide advices and best practices on ATC troubleshooting, share the REX;
? Being local ATC expertise to assess, analyse and solve any ATC issues met on projects (troubleshooting) before contacting PrEM & Platform based in Paris;
? To assist CASCO ATC SSM, ATC Data Preparation and ATC I&V teams involved in Urbalis projects in China, in applying ATC deployment process
o To assist CASCO ATC SSM in coordinating CASCO internal ATC activities of China Urbalis projects
o To assist CASCO ATC SSM in managing and securing delivery of ATC data to ATC I&V, FIVP and T&C teams
o To contribute to ATC test procedures and review ATC test reports
o To perform ATC on-site inspections during T&C and Trial Running, with CASCO teams.
? To monitor ATC subsystem performances on relative CBTC projects in Trial Running or Revenue Service based on PM and PrEM requirement :
o Collect and compute data from projects
o Deliver a monthly report for projects in Revenue Service
o Deliver a weekly report for projects in Trial Running
? To provide technical advices for local tendering activities;
? Ensures proper technical/troubleshooting documentations are up-to-date with good quality and available for general use.
? Ensures that safety/EHS conditions are gathered at all time for tests to be carried out;
? Reports regularly his/her progress to his/her supervisors (managerial and functional)

SKILLS & EDUCATION
Engineering degree or equivalent (Master degree or equivalent) with ATC T&C background
? Minimum 1 year working experience in any technical fields (design, validation, test, commissioning…)
? Experience in Signalling or more generally in Railway industry will be as plus.
