CN>JP Seller Identity Verification program is a new process for all CN>JP sellers wishing to trade in Japan, designed to prevent and detect bad market actors and fraud. Sellers are required to submit a collection of verification documents for audit. In May 2017, the Amazon Global Sales team and Seller Support decide to setup a team to support and verify the CN based JP Sellers on SIV process. This is a key blocker to China-based Sellers launching in Japan Market and we believe that Seller Support SIV team will help Sellers to clearly communicating the SIV requirements, help clarify any questions and meanwhile act as the investigators to verify the documents submitted by the Sellers.

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking candidates with a proven track record of performance and results-oriented thinking, to join the AGS Seller Support SIV Team. Candidates will be responsible for answering enquiry, investigating and verifying documents to eliminate the risks.
Besides, you will also get to learn about wide range of operational and technical knowledge from associated internal teams, and learn how to lead projects such as improving operational and system efficiency.

The position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals and will work under very limited supervision of the Manager. Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills are used to authenticate customers and complex documents and accounts. Nearly all decisions are expected to be made independently with little to no guidance and a high degree of accuracy.

Introduction of CN>JP SIV Process
Upon registration, sellers based in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong (CN) are identified by the system via account attributes, such as shipping address and sign-ins. These Sellers are automatically prompted to upload documents in Seller Central for verification. During verification, Sellers are placed into staging status. This status causes the Seller’s listings and disbursements to be suspended. Once the Sellers upload the required documents, case will be created in Paragon and assigned to a SIV Specialist. Well trained on how to answer any enquiries and verify the documents, CN>JP SIV Specialists follow the SOP to review the documents and confirm their validity in all kinds of internal and external systems and websites. They will determine whether to approve or deny the seller registration, and record the result in Paragon.

Basic Qualifications
Communication Skills:
? Trilingual language in Japanese, English and Mandarin, with an ability to compose a grammatically correct, concise and accurate written response in English and Japanese.
? Work proactively with sellers to ensure they understand Amazon's Requirements and guide sellers to provide documentations required by Amazon in a timely manner via email or phone.
? Demonstrate ownership of every Seller interaction and excellent communication skills to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to Sellers.
? Coordinate with different functional teams across different regions to improve both seller experience and efficiency.
? Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex transactional issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.
? Clear, crisp and proactive documentation of operational procedures required to tackle known risk related.
Problem Solving Skills:
? Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills and identifies trends to appropriate channel including improvement suggestions
? Demonstrated ability to work independently, make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance, and analyze problems logically including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns.
? Self-disciplined, quick self-learning, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
? Strong time management, work prioritization and organizational skills to ensure productivity and fulfills department standards for time spent.
? Demonstrate the ability to recognize and identify system, process and policy issues impacting our Sellers and drive business improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with payments, risk and fraud investigations, security and documents verification and knowledge of Chinese bank/company systems will be a plus.
? Experience with Buyer Protection Services, Merchant Trust Services is highly preferred.
? Fluent in oral and written English and Japanese is a plus.
