Role Purpose:
The Business Development Specialist’s primary role is to generate new business revenue and maximize sales revenues from new clients. Initially this role will involve as well as cold calling, emailing, and customized research discussions with companies in your own area of responsibility.
The BD specialist has 3 core responsibilities: build up sales pipeline, closed-loop lead management, reporting and analytics.
Key responsibilities:
1)Sales Pipeline
- Prospecting and networking to grow target list within territory by identifying and contacting new companies.
- Bringing in new business for the Company through telephone calls, mail/e-mail with potential clients.
- Responsible for creating and driving sales pipeline.
2)Lead Management
- Qualify leads and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow-up.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities for revenue growth: generating leads and cold calling as necessary
- Drive growth through the pursuit of new business using lead management and other processes.
3)Reporting and analytics
- Assess the lead management process and make sure reports are actionable
- Conduct competitive research, including competitor market share, product offering, and activities.
- Provide analytics to enable data-driven decision making and improve marketing ROI.
- To constantly review and improve working process to achieve high efficiency
- Generate a learning and feedback culture, ensuring absolute honesty and fairness.
- Unlocking the potential of people, through the delivery of effective coaching and performance reviews
- Embedding high performance, driving change and continuously looking to improve the way we do things, remove waste and create efficiency by adopting a continuous improvement approach.
Requirements:
We are looking for a sales – orientated and driven person, ideally with at least 2 years of telemarketing sales experience. The candidate must have strong communication skills and must be:
- “Win in the right way”. Strong Values, ethics and compliance
- Passionate; can do attitude
- Strong logic thinking and communication skill
- Self-driven and results driven.
- A creative and proactive approach to selling (with discipline)
- Able to demonstrate strong rapport building skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
