REPORTS TO: Managing Director of China, and VP of Marketing, United States
LOCATION: Wuxi, China,
Scope:
With emphasis on product management and digital media, this position supports the ongoing development and execution of the company’s global marketing strategies in the APAC region. Position participates in all matters relating to the new product development, marketing plans for overall product portfolio, related metrics, and industry related events. Specifics include integrated online and offline marketing campaigns, project management, social media management, copywriting, proofing and editing by leveraging the creative content development process.
Key duties include:
? Conduct new-product development research, and drive new product development
? Responsible for the ongoing assessment of all marketing performance metrics including efficiency metrics, brand metrics, customer value metrics, and overall return on investment for all marketing initiatives
? Support public affairs related to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety). Develop business relationships with insurance companies, design firms, EHS consulting and audit firms.
? Review product advertisements in both print and electronic media to ensure accuracy and favorable appeal of our products.
? Sales leads attainment through online channels
? Coordinate with distributors and end users on product training
? Tradeshow support
? Miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales, office and marketing-related objectives
Basic requirements:
This position requires a combination of creativity with clear understanding of actions to meet business objectives. Must have ability to operate with spirit of entrepreneurship within a culture of discipline to support development and adherence to standard work.
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, related Business Administration, or Engineering from an accredited educational institution
? Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, or business administration
? Language: fluent Mandarin Chinese and in written and spoken English; additional fluency in Japanese or Korean a plus
? Business acumen – possess insight to larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into overall strategy
? Experience in translating and communicating complex technical topics to execute the actions with easy-to-understand benefits.
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple obligations; meet deadlines while under pressure; self-discipline
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience in creating, composing, writing, and editing materials for print and web – the writing process
? Team player – flexible, able to adjust to shifting priorities; positive “can-do” attitude
? Ability to travel up to 20%
? Technical aptitude – understand the nature and workings of tangible industrial products
70% of time - Responsibilities and key duties include:

? Understanding of inbound and outbound linking strategies
? Understanding of affiliate or referral marketing concepts
? Understanding of appropriate Web design and online capabilities; HTML understanding and experience with CMS platforms, strict coding ability not required
30% - Responsibilities and key duties include:
? Online marketing campaigns; ensure consistency with overall marketing strategy
? Online Marketing - Media:
o Manage digital assets such as images or videos for use in electronic and/or print
o Web design – support textual and graphical elements for various facets of web sites
o Social – provide strategic insight and execute tactical improvements
