Liaison Specialist is responsible for the support of overall business goals to optimize in-stocks and inventory record accuracy of the responsible territory.
Serve as liaison supporting the Inventory Offer team to local Sales and Marketing organisation with responsibility for driving and delivering the agreed levels of service and providing support for sales growth, through application of strong commercial effectiveness and the development of positive/collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
? To manage customer related queries and escalate appropriately given commercial considerations
? Liaise with local Operations teams to support the management of overdue intercompany orders
? To help drive reductions in backorders and on-time fulfilment of forward/scheduled orders
? Drive improved levels of customer service by effective application of best practice tools and processes and optimised deployment of resources.
? Drive improved and increased efficiency of process and optimising organisation design
? Represent the Inventory Offer team within the Market and build appropriate stakeholder relationships and manage proactively to ensure integration with the business area.
? Represent the Local Planners as primary interface with UK Liaison teams
? Support the IM leader, interpret relevant Sales & Marketing strategies to enable and sustain effective levels of customer service provision and support.
? Develop and implement effective measures, metrics and controls that support improved business performance, drive cross functional engagement and maintain high levels of customer service.
? Contribute to a continuous improvement approach to define best practice tools, techniques and processes across the Inventory and Liaison teams
Requirements:
Essential:
? Very familiar with SAP system
? University degree level education or equivalent (preferably within relevant area)
? 2-5 years minimum of Customer Service / Logistics / Supply Chain experience
? Strong understanding of supply chain principles including forecasting, replenishment, ordering and related customer service functions
? Strong customer service ethos
? Well-developed commercial skills and able to interpret and communicate financial impact
? Knowledge of our external market place (customers, competitors & suppliers)
? Excellent communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
? Ability to use knowledge and experience of external best practice to drive a continuous improvement based approach
