Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)
Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
The BRCM (Business Risk and Control Management) Manager assists with the implementation of the risk and control strategy as set out by the Senior BRCM Manager or by the Global Risk Function. They will ensure the consistent and effective implementation and performance of operational risk and control assurance.
The BRCM Manager will be tasked with control assurance, control improvement, regional / country /functional risk assessments, MSII logging/tracking, Incident reporting and BRCM Management Information reporting including KI’s.
They will engage with 2nd Line of Defence, 3rd Line of Defence and external regulators at the direction of the BRCM Manager. Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
5-10 years of general banking work experience.
Minimun of a bachelor’s degree in business, related or equuivalent field is required.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and different levels within the organization.
Have the strong concept for banking risk control and management to review if apporopriate all service and operational risk management processes across the RBWM.
Operational Risk Management experience
Must be attentive to details for requlations to ensure appropriate operations action plans for updated laws®ulations bening duly institured and implemented
Strong managerial, communications, project management, organizational, lateral thinking, strategic planning, analytical, mathematical, decision-making, interpersonal and leadship skills.
Must be well originized, demonstrate initiative, and able to manage nultiple projects.
Good time management skills and a positive desposition are needed to cope with the precess of heacy workload and tight headcount control.
