Job Title: General Manager
Location: Changchun (长春）
Reports to: Management Board
Subordinates: 350
Major Responsibilities:
？ Provide leadership in growing the business in China
？ Coordinate and collaborate as necessary with the global organization.
？ Foster and develop a working environment which encourages cooperation and exchange of know-how and ideas. Able to drive necessary change and secure cooperation without direct authority
？ Significantly influence and actively participate in the development and alignment of the overall business strategy, new business development and quoting process
？ Drive necessary operational and cultural changes to achieve business plan objectives and key performer indicators; manage all launch activities
？ Drive operational excellence in plant, including effective operations, supply chains, quality, lean manufacturing and EHS systems
？ Direct the development and implementation of activities to achieve established objectives, including key areas such as safety, quality, financial and operational
？ Frequently conduct and evaluate performance variance analysis in areas such as quality, launch, financial, operational; maximize strengths, drive effective problem resolution, facilitate resource, deployment and action planning
？ Ddevelop and sustain relationships with exsiting/new customers and suppliers
？ Utilize various company tools and systems and plan/direct/coordinate activities to ensure the sites operate effectively and within company policies
？ Develop effective working relationships with site management, regional and corporate key stakeholders
？ Drive effective resource utilization and workforce planning including people development and succession planning

Qualifications / Skills Required:
？ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other discipline, MBA a plus.
？ 10+ years of manufacturing and general management experience in automotive industry
？ Previous experience working for global organization, with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of corporate policies, procedures and systems.
？ Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
？ Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, including Six Sigma or lean manufacturing experience
？ Excellent presentation, interpersonal, problem solving, and project management skills.
？ Excellent leadership skills with proven track record developing, motivating, mentoring and leading effective teams
？ Strong background in general management, financial management, business development, sales and marketing with strong business analytical skills.
