Unit/Department Description:

Sourcing at Division is organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to the Brand Division on a global level. One of the key functions within Sourcing is Indirect Sourcing, which focuses on commercial relationships with suppliers and the business in managing all indirect material procurement. The Indirect Sourcing function is responsible for aggregating purchases and strategies across all the Asia Brand Division facilities to ensure the greatest value is provided to the organization’s internal customers through optimal sourcing of cost and terms for indirect material and services



Position/Job Description:
? Responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving the supplier quality assurance and development system in the commodity, major components: Crankshaft, muffler, ball & needle bearing, sheet metal parts, drive support parts etc.
? Early involved new project development: Suppliers selection, Internal and external drawing reviews, tooling review, work with supplier and R&D for Engineering pilot quality issue improvement.
? Responsible for PPAP, on site review process to verify tooling, fixture, machine, inspection method and gauge, process parameters; effective approve PPAP and no quality issue after manufacturing pilot.
? Guide the suppliers in the APQP process and approve the result of the suppliers APQP work.
? Responsible for factories suppliers quality issue and the suppliers corrective action process, approve the result for Husqvarna related issues that has gone through the process
? Perform audits on new and existing suppliers with the purpose of evaluating the expected quality performance of the supplier, and provide relevant information into supplier selection decision forums and commodity management.
? Develop strategic and excite suppliers.
? Support global team for supplier quality issue.
? Work with suppliers and related company department to achieve all individual KPIs.


Essential Duties:
? Early effective involve new project development, solve all quality issue before PPAP. Effective approve PPAP and no quality after PPAP approval.
? Responsible for suppliers quality improvement, ensure suppliers delivery quality and achieve commodity PPM target.
? Responsible for supplier quality issue solving and support factory production, effective close the 8D no repeat issue happen.
? Conduct new or existing supplier FSQA audit and verify the NCR improvement, effective close all audit non-conformities.
? Work with cross function team for suppliers management and improvement, achieve department and company KPI.


 
Preferred qualifications:
Education:
? Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline.

Experience:
? Minimum 8 years of experience working with supplier quality related topics and manufacturing engineering experience in relevant area.
? Have very good working experiences and knowledge on petrol powertrain components manufacturing process and quality control process : Precision machining, forging, stamping, heat treatment, plating, welding process etc.
? Familiar with stamping tooling design and maintenance.
? Familiar with crankshaft, muffler, ball & needle bearing, sheet metal parts, drive support components is of a clear advantage.
? Possession of recognized qualification in quality engineering, audit processes and relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma) is of a clear advantage.

Languages:
? Fluency in English is required (written and oral),in other language is an advantage.

Skills and Capabilities:
? Thorough working knowledge of quality systems methods and quality engineering practices (APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Lean manufacturing concepts, etc.)
? Demonstrated experience in performing assessments of new and existing suppliers
? Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
? Strong written and verbal communications skills
? Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, consulting).
? Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database application
Internal and External Contacts/Customers:
? Internal Contacts: Commodity managers, supplier development, sustainability, R&D, Plant quality, Manufacturing, Planning etc.
