- For our Energy Sector in Shanghai we are looking for a project manager (m/f) for the supporting technical bid preparation in the field of gas turbines at the earliest opportunity. This contains the analysis of different customer & local market requirements and the comparison to existing product concepts. The objective is to provide gas turbine data for emissions, power and efficiency to enable the management to decide on the risk assessment and also to feedback competitor and market information to support global GT product strategy. This position is thus set as an interface between various organizations and representatives (Marketing, Sales, GT product specialist at frame/component level) and as such offers a rather bright career development path.

Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Order management of gas turbine projects during the tender process
- Analysis and annotation of customer requirements and specifications
- Review of technical details concerning the gas turbine with sales and customers; assessment of deviations to existing standards
- Support the definition of technical product details including risk assessment and costs
- Thermodynamic guaranty calculations for the technical gas turbine bid
- Support the processes and tools in place by gathering and processing market and competitor information
- Interface with global Marketing and Sales teams to identify market trends, customer needs and competitors moves
- Relate market requirements to product feature requirements
- Clarification and decision-making for open and critical topics with management and project managers
