Responsibility Level:
Under general direction from Global and China Aftermarket Business 5 year vision and strategy, the role is to implement new distribution model (VPZ VARTA PowerZone) rolling out to support the overall business and distribution expansion and current business migration, to drive sustainable business growth for both market share and segment income.
The role requires good business management skills, communication skills, account development skills and program management capability, which also requires openness to relocation for new stores setting up and on boarding. The role is also responsible for accelerating new store’s business to a normal level then hand over to JCI sales team for regular business management
Typical Duties
Roll out VARTA PowerZone and set up stores
  • Arrange business development in target market to seek for potential VARTA PowerZone partners and build up the pipeline and development timeline
  • Arrange proper business communication to develop VARTA PowerZone customers with clear and strong statement of value proposition, ROI analysis and long term vision
  • Develop good market understanding level including but not limited to local customers and market census
  • Arrange territory definition with data and market demand analysis, support the location selection and arrange store set up and decoration
  • Support WD staffing for VARTA PowerZone including hiring, interviewing, training and coaching
  • Work with IT team to arrange battery business management system (BBMS) implementation
VARTA PowerZone onboarding, training and SOP management
  • Manage VPZ store onboarding, training
  • Guide the right way of daily business management under VPZ operating model, make sure of operating model’s implementation via monitor and auditing
  • Prepare the hand over to local sales after on-boarding process


  • 4 – 5 years working experience
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing and Business or relevant majors
  • Good customer communication and management skills
  • Good implementation
  • Demonstrated process orientation/capability
  • Strong business acumen
  • Data operation and analysis skills
  • Office skills especially on Excel and PPT
