Position Summary
Provide various types of business and administrative support to the Asia Pacific Strategic Business Development team located in Shanghai. Coordinate meetings and negotiation sessions with potential partners including logistics and event organization. Conduct early scouting and basic market, customer and industry research to develop an initial view for SBD projects.


Key Areas of Responsibility
? Conducts in-depth research of various industries, markets and opportunities. Review available market research, contact companies with specific questions, and conduct other analysis as necessary.
? Coordinate meetings with partners or potential partners, organize all administrative issues and prepare summaries of meetings and other communication (with translation if necessary). Where appropriate, participate in meetings in order to make sure complete and accurate meeting minutes are prepared.
? Provide support to the Strategic Business Development team for other work, including communication with various government agencies, government required filings, and discuss pertinent rules and regulations with government agencies.
? Provide administrative support to VP of Strategic Business Development.


Required Skills
? Knowledge of commonly-used research concepts, practices, and procedures.
? Basic Knowledge of regional economic and industrial trends
? Strong attention to details and good writing skills.
? Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
? Communication skills including interpersonal, written, oral and listening
? Willing to learn attitude
? Good level of both written and spoken English


Education/Experience
? Undergraduate university degree.
? Previous market research or analysis work experience is preferred.
