职位描述：
1. Purpose of the job:
In the Process Engineering dept. the Tooling engineer defines and implements the tooling for the new components machine and assembly. He validates the status of implementation of the final. Continuously optimizing the tooling design under his responsibility. He gives technical support to the new project and shop floor. In the execution of his responsibilities he is working closely together with the process engineers and with the cell brigadiers.

2. Major accountabilities:
2.1. Execute Tooling
Familiar the tooling design technology. He defines and makes the tooling drawings (3D & 2D) for the proto component machine and assembly. Makes sure that the tooling can be effectively operated.
Must give the feedback to the product designer and process engineer if has any questions.
Provides technical support, training and instructions to the shop floor in relation to the tooling.
2.2. Troubleshooting
For tooling implement, he organizes an efficient Helpdesk function for the production cells under his responsibility so that questions coming from the shop floor can be addressed and/or answered within shortest time possible.
Be the technical point of contact for product designer, process engineer, supplier and cell brigadiers.
Makes sure that solutions found are secured and embedded in process.
2.3. Improve the tooling and process
Optimizes production processes and tooling using different techniques. He is making sure that tooling improvements are documented and implemented on the shop floor.
2.4. Prepare the tooling document
Design the tooling and prepare the drawings(3D&2D), the work instruction of these tooling.
2.5. Lean Manufacturing
Designs the detailed tooling
Assists in building new machines and installations and in the commissioning process.
2.6. Experience and knowledge sharing
Machines related tools and fixture.
Thorough knowledge of the Gear process
Measuring techniques related to production processes
