Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) is a global producer of innovative equipment, specialty systems and value-added services for the industrial products, fluid management, engineered systems and electronic technology markets. In the Asia Pacific region, Dover has operations in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand
The Dover regional headquarters was set up in early 2009 in Shanghai and we are in the process of setting up an Asian Purchasing Office within the headquarters to support the different operating companies in China/Asia.
Dover’s corporate goal is to increase the sourcing spend in China/Asia to more than 15% in the next few years. Selecting the low cost and good quality suppliers is critical. This Supply Quality/Development Manager will play a very important role to ensure we identify and qualify low cost and good quality suppliers.
Major Responsibilities/Duties 工作职责 % of Time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
? Coordinate with Global Sourcing Quality team and Operating Companies Supply Chain team to implement and drive Dover Global Sourcing Standard Quality Process throughout Operating Companies, like supplier evaluation, process audit, Supplier Manual etc.,
? Act as local resource to assist with quality issues at suppliers in the region. Lead and assist with rolling out, training and implementation of Supplier Quality tools, Continuous Improvement for suppliers.
? Work with Operating Companies to run supplier performance scorecards. Review supplier performance scorecards with suppliers on quality, delivery, open issue and continuous improvement.
? Participate in the activities include not limited to APQP, FAI, supplier approval process, specification/print development, trials, etc. during supplier start-up. Coordinate cost estimating and design parameters for new projects and products.
? In new and resourced product, or following process change or quality issue, maintain presence at supplier's facility to audit both process and final product quality prior to shipment.
? Act as first line of defense in region in the event of quality issues. Move rapidly to contain problem, establish recovery plan and expedite corrective action

Key Requirements 主要要求
Education教育背景: Bachelor Degree or above, technical background required
Experience 经验: At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality and supplier development fields
Language skills语言: Good command in English
Computer skills 电脑: Solid skills in Microsoft office tools

? Good communication skills
? Exceptional inter-personal skills
? Comfortable working in an unstructured start-up business environment in a matrix global organization with the ability to leverage resources from corporate headquarters and divisions.
