HSBC Operations, Services and Technology (HOST)
HSBC Operations, Services and Technology is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. HOST combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
1. To perform all counter transactions
- To balance cash position at regular internals and total cash in hand after closing against workstation and cash vouchers.
2.To handle the processing of payment service and account service via direct scanning approach (applicable to the spoke sub-branch with GWIS facility)
- To perform GWIS operation covering batch arrangement, document scanning, reconciliation, filing, etc.
3. To handle the collection and delivery of customer instructions (applicable to the spoke sub-branches without GWIS facility)Understand procedures & policies required for the job
- Obtain sufficient knowledge to back up at least one other position in sub-branch operations team
4. Continuous performance improvement. To produce work of a high quality and seek way to continuously improve performance
- Good customer services. To meet internal/ external customer requirements and project a professional image to customers and focus on delivery and satisfies internal/ external customer needs on time
5. Team work and interpersonal skills improvement.
- To participate in and support team work and activities; to maintain good relationship with supervisors, peers and colleagues ; to cooperate with colleagues to solve all kinds of problems
- Demonstrate active participation in team and department briefing
6. Adhere to various requirements from internal control department and external regulators, provide support during inspections if required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instruction and external regulatory requirements, including management of operational risk and
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and uphold the Bank’s ethical standard both in professional activities and personal conduct.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or above;
2.Good command of written and spoken English, spoken Cantonese preferred;
3.Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of responsibility;
4.Strong communication skills and problem solving skills;
5.Commitment to service and sales;
6.Good character, positive and motivated, can work under pressure. You’ll achieve more at HSBC.
