Risk

Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

-Impact analysis of regulatory changes, coordination and execution of the various Regulatory Compliance work streams and assurance in China, while ensuring alignment with Global Standards.

-Partnership with the GB business, interfaces with GB business risk management team and responsibility for driving the implementation of policy.

-Monitor and tack the progress of various work streams and initiatives related to GB products, services and clients, which involves regulatory compliance risk

-Monitor regulatory changes to ensure proactive communication with business and develop appropriate policy and framework to manage the changes.

-Implementation of Regulatory Compliance policies into the business and collaboration with various Risk and GB Business functions.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
-Good knowledge in regulatory affairs in the industry and good sense of compliance culture.
-Experience of dealing with regulatory matters within the bank and keep a good relationship with Regulators.
-Experience of interpreting and analyzing a large volume of information data and provide succinct summary for management.
-Experience of working within a matrixed/complex environment and ability to deliver practical and effective solutions, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business.
-Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with management at all levels.
