Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)

Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure all published content and pages are SEO compliant

• Work with Content Studio Strategist to identify and deliver timely content

• Track, analyse and report regional site traffic

• Competitor analysis and tracking

• Make on-going improvement recommendations to regional websites

• Inform the Global SEO team knowledgebase

• Deliver regional SEO training to editorial teams

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Proven SEO Experience
• Must be fluent in Simplified Chinese (speaking, writing, reading). Fluency in Traditional Chinese is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SEO-related languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Demonstrable understanding of other traffic acquisition channels
• Knowledge of Conversion Marketing
• Experience of Adobe Measure (Omniture SiteCatalyst) and relevant Search Engine Consoles
• Experience working with locally relevant keyword and optimisation tooling
• Experience and understanding of web publishing tools, content management systems and capabilities and automated translation platforms
• Previous experience in a translation or localisation environment
• Knowledge of digital ‘best practice’ including SEO, writing for web, optimisation and accessibility
• Strong analytical, and planning skills and the ability to work with multiple teams.
• Innovative – the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
• Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g commercials, risk, customer experience; determine the implications and make recommendations as needed.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
• Strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success
• Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all 5 regions (North America, LATAM, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe).
