Job Description:

- Supports the KAM/PPM during the offers phase for defining project structure and scope of work (early involvement)
- Approves the offer prior to submission in his/her function as designated project manager
- Managing the project initialization and planning with special attention to cross location project organization and interface with customer.
- Face to the customer and responsible for effective communication with the customer during project execution
- Project execution according to project process, with special attention to manage project team at his location and to monitor cross location deliveries
- Project execution according to the content of the contract using most efficient methods, processes and know how
- Controls and monitors project execution via ProCalc with special attention to cross location information flow
- Reports to POM respectively ECM/TCM (depending on PL’s /SenPL’s location during project execution) regarding project management issues (progress, priority questions, resources, co-ordination etc.)
- Project reporting according to process to customer and AVL internally
- Execute project wrap up with the dual goal: get customer feedback and assess project execution performance.
- Feedback to team members and input to ECM/TCM/STL/POM for annual performance review.

Rights and Responsibilities:

- Achievement of project targets (technical, cost, quality, time) and customer satisfaction
- Authority of overall budget control – build up reserves (“CTC”), release and limit budget
- Authority to form the project team jointly with STLs (escalation to POMs, ECMs/TCMs) according to the required project resources (capacity, quality and location)
- Authority to give instruction to PL-P(s) and direct reporting project team members in the framework of the project execution across all locations
- Responsible for applying appropriate tools and methods
- Authority and responsibility to request and to follow escalation procedures according to process
- Co-responsible for effective hand-over from KAM

Qualification:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree, Engine Engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years working experience on project management (engine and vehicle calibration project)
- Basic knowledge on engines
- Experience of management of multidisciplinary multi-department and projects with multicultural team members are preferred
- Intercultural communication skills, team building, and self-motivation
- Time management, financial controlling
- Experience in multinational company is preferred
- Good sense in sales and marketing
- Good command of computer skills & English
- Overseas work experience is highly favored.
