About the client
Our client is an European midsized industrial enterprise. The company develops and produces high-quality precision turned parts, including hydraulic components, shafts, sleeves and bushings.
About the role
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Jiaxing (嘉兴)
Reports to: Operation Director
Plant Size: 35 staff
Main Responsibilities:
？ Acquisition of new customers in China
？ Leading the quality group achieve the goal of the company
？ Communicate other department to build up the quality, safety system
？ Ensure good quality level and ongoing keep the customer satisfied
？ Ensure all customer's quality control items are identified implement in production
？ To drive corrective action and continuous improvement based on quality data and provide the suggestion, reduce the nonconformance ratio
？ Introducing quality tools and train the team
？ Internal testing and development
？ Responsible for quality system set up, running and maintenance
？ Handing and coordinate quality issues in customer, supplier and other department
？ TS16949 and supplier audit and action plan follow up till close
？ Carries out any additional duties as required
Qualifications & skills required
？ Bachelor‘s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
？ Ideally at least 5 years of work experience
？ High ability of reading mechanical drawings and deciding the right measurement equipment for each dimension, based on the tolerance
？ Expert knowledge about APQP project management
？ Expert in conducting external audits according to TS 16949
？ Proficiency in MSA,FEMA,SPC,APQP,PPAP management tools
？ High understanding of Statistical Process control and knowledge on how to calculate control intervals, CPK, PPK and Xbar-R, without software
？ Experience in leading 8D workshops
？ Experience in training staff
？ Experience in leading a team of minimum 3 people and relevant HR process (target setting, performance review)
？ General knowledge about CNC turning
？ Experience with CAQ/SPC software solutions
？ High understanding of effective Change Management
？ Can teach others in rapid PDCA methodology to achieve quality improvements
？ Can lead large size projects successfully
？ High Process orientation
？ Highly analytical person
？ High Number Affinity
？ Quickly understands new situations
