Quality Control – China – Furniture
Our client is well-established, profitable international furniture trading company with a large operation in China. To continue the further development of the company in Asia we are looking for international experienced Quality Control (Managers) for China. The role can have focus on both indoor and outdoor furniture. We hope are able to take management responsibility of a team of quality controllers, and you need to have the ability to travel a lot in China.
Main Responsibilities:
？ Executing quality control of samples and mass production at (key) suppliers
？ Identity problems and have them corrected before releasing the unit.
？ Solving urgent tasks associated with deliveries and claims
？ Identify and analyze constraint processes and implement solutions
？ Supporting and training a team of Quality Controllers at the company
？ Being responsible for different furniture segments and ensuring an effective process of internal quality control trough positively cooperation with the key supplier
？ An hands-on coordinator approach being able to manage ad hoc projects
？ Providing support with assembly instructions and technical drawings
？ Work independently as well as being a team player in your problem solving
？ Make decisions and solves problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to optimize production.
？ Communicate product or material issues with appropriate individuals in operations.
The profile we are looking for:
？ Knowledge within furniture and various types of materials (e.g. wood, metal, plastic and glass) would be preferred
？ Multi-task in a high paced environment and ability to complete projects according to deadlines
？ Good knowledge of English, and a competent user of Microsoft Office.
？ Have a positive open mind towards different cultures and etiquettes
？ Ability to travel a lot in China..
