Position Summary
The role is for premier Sales in Xiamen CO, be responsible to deliver the sales budget required by company via commercial development of Ocean, Air control business.
Objectives of the Position
The Premier Sales is responsible for:
- Maintain good relationship with existing customers & develop new customers
- Deliver sales budget
- Promote Damco brand, monitor and be aware of Market trends
Job Responsibilities
1).Deliver Sales budget required by the company, Live the APM vision and values
- Work out and share annual/quarterly/monthly sales plan with Premier sales manager in a timely manner;
- Track and trace on a monthly basis for his/her responsible customers actual sales against annual sales plan per month;
- Be accountable for developing new business with existing Damco vendors;
- For every potential vendor, there must be a thorough sales implementation plan;
- Explore new customer, make proposal/quotation to potential customers;
- No quotation or proposal can be sent to customers without the approval for discount per pricing authority;
- Maintain the existing business and conduct contract renew with existing customers;
- Develop sales work plans for his/her responsible customers, take leading roles in sales call and daily communication with all connections(vendors, CUS and trucking operation team, and Finance if any)
- Assist operation team in execution of newly landed business;
- Update and maintain good data quality for below tasks:
? Sales Engagement
? Weekly sales call plan
? CRM
2) Teamwork
- Provide competition information gathered through daily contact with vendors to sales manager at least on a monthly basis;
- Provide input to sales manager about tariff competitiveness at least on a monthly basis;
- Provide business analyst required information in a timely manner;
- Adhere to the deadlines all the time. Any excuse on failing to complete the job assignment within deadlines is not acceptance unless addressed in advance with reasonable reason.
- Report adequately and regularly on performance and developments to sales manager;
- Identify new product potential and report to sales manager in real time;
Skills Required
Education:
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in business or related field/ Supply Chain and logistics experience will be preferred.
Experience:
- 2 years or above on sales or commercial related experience
- Adequate experiences and knowledge on local forwarding market
- Experienced in working with customers to identify and understand needs/opportunities, and work with subsequent development
- Strong sales and presentation Skills
Language:
- Good written and spoken English and Mandarin

Position Summary
