职位描述：
1. Purpose of the job
- Assists from a quality assurance point of view in the selection and qualification process of suppliers and monitors their adherence to the imposed quality standards.
- Assists from a quality point of view in validation.
- Handle nonconformity parts and deviations of supplier, trace the result of suppliers corrective actions.
- Analysis approval supplier quality level in order to help their improvement.
- As a specialist machining process engineer, you are the reference for all technical aspects of machined components in China. You overlook at the design, the GD&T calculation guidelines, the quality control (2D/ 3D measurements) and the validation processes of Machined suppliers.
- The components vary from machined cast iron parts to toothed parts. For each aspect you support from your theoretical training and practical experience the Operations, Product Design, Incoming inspection, Supplier Management and Strategic Purchasing departments.

2. Major accountabilities
- Contributes to the qualification and selection process of potential suppliers by analyzing and judging the quality assurance system of the potential suppliers, evaluating the potential supplier’s production systems.
Deliverable: ensure a continuous level of quality in supply from locally sourced products.
- Evaluates the potential supplier’s production (manufacturing) systems and judges whether these systems are able and capable to guarantee a supply of goods ( components) according to the Companies requirements.
- Is responsible for handling nonconformity parts and analyze deviations. Follows up suppliers quality problems and quality performance in such a way (feedback loops) that incoming inspection can be reduced, or incoming inspection can be replaced by deliveries with certificates, and internal production is not jeopardized.
- Experience and knowledge sharing
Build and share knowledge and experience internally and externally in order to leverage expertise and performance level of the team and the broader organization.

- Team management
Coordinate, plan and steer departmental activities in order to reach the departmental goals.
Steer, develop and coach department/team members in order to maximise performance and stimulate people growth.

3. Behavioural Competencies & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance and supplier quality assurance
- Working at least 5 years in process engineer in machining manufacturer.

4. Technical Competencies & Skills
Strong technical background on machining, familiar with machining process and GD&T.
Familiar with machining drawing/ standard and norms (DIN/ ISO/ EN……)
Familiar with machined parts inspection ( CMM/ manual inspection/ GMM.)
English communication with global team is preferred..

5. Expertise
- Education level: Bachelor degree in mechanical and/or equivalent through working experience.
- Years of relevant experience in machining: At least 5 years experience in similar positions in machining process engineer or quality. (latest 3 years’ working experience shall be PE or SQA related) 举报 分享
