CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Achieve sales and margin budgets & objectives
Perform all necessary research and analysis to establish achievable but yet aggressive sales and profit margin goals by regions and by supplier.
2. Business unit quarterly business review
Review entire business KPI (Key performance indicators) with business unit. Determine actions required to meet objectives. This is an all-encompassing review: sales, inventory, profit margin, in addition to performance to SLA (Service Level Agreement); supplier performance, customer performance, staff development, etc.
3. Supplier relationship management
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers at the appropriate levels. Supplier Champions are assigned for each supplier.
4. DPP pricing negotiation
In conjunction with the Global Commodity Manager, negotiate preferential pricing for Future on stocking devices. For focus suppliers, the Director is responsible.
5. Margin enhancement
Based on business unit strategy, review all CBO for assigned branches to identify potential issues and sales and profit margin opportunities.
6. Supplier quarterly business reviews
Prepare and execute quarterly reviews and ensure that we deliver on our commitments to suppliers by creating realistic objectives and follow through on action items.
7. Business unit specific quote training
During weekly meetings and as required based on escalations and changing market conditions.
8. Quote approval – Branch generated
Approval of quotes based on a dollar threshold set by business unit.
9. Customer visits to Corporate
As appropriate, visit selected customers in the field, and participate in customer visits at corporate headquarters. Prepare and present appropriate information.
CREDENTIALS:
QUALIFICATIONS
? A minimum of a Degree or equivalent
EXPERIENCES
? Minimum 5 years in product marketing at Future Electronics or equivalent electronics industry experience within distribution, component manufacturers and/or EMS companies.
? Must be able travel when required
? Effective communication in English– additional languages an asset
? Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
