职位描述：
1. Purpose of the job
- Establish Outsourcing process for operational and strategical Outsourcing and describe the handling in a process description for all involved persons/departments
- Scan the market and identify potential supplier for the different machining work
- Work with the current raw material suppliers and identify their capabilities for Outsourcing
- Interact on a standard base with the supplier in RFQ and base requirements
- Responsible for Optimizing material cost of products for subcontracting or fully machined parts
- Outsourcing partially and fully machining casting and forging parts with the required cost reduction goal
- Define the Outsourcing Capacity requirements as per input from operation side.
- Planning of outsourcing budget &monitor together with FIN controlling.
2. Major accountabilities
- Outsourcing partially and fully machined casting and forging (geared) parts
- Handling standard RFQ’s with potential suppliers and interact with them
- Manage the supplier / Product Approval process within the Program Purchasing regulations
- Detail the machining steps with machine used and timing as well as cutting speed, tools and fixtures used
- Make the negotiation and the final decision with Head purchasing and Controlling department in the factory.
- Accept the internal variable and fixed cost as Baseline and report the should-saving via Subcontracting
- Align with the involved departments on requirements for raw supply, tools & fixtures, machininmg accuracy, CMM measuring report, packaging and preservation requirements
- Align with logistics on the logistical requirements and forecasts
- Identifies and maps potential local suppliers / partners with requested outsourcing activites
- Qualifies local suppliers: conducts the qualification process of potential suppliers according to the company’s standards.
- Aline with the company’s requirements – and follows up the production process at the vendors. this includes vendor development, sample development, follow up on the 0-series. Is responsible for the negotiation and the closing of contracts.
- Organises and guarantees the supply in a timely and cost efficient way, in line with specifications defined by internal product developers, quality specialists and manufacturing technologists, and taking into account
- leverage: single versus multiple sourcing (effects and risks)
- balance between purchased quantities and customer requirements, and suppliers capacity
- optimal delivery schedules
- Is responsible for the contract management with suppliers in respect of technology, quality, logistics, commercial conditions,...Hereto he establishes and continuously improves a communication and information exchange process with suppliers.

4. Technical Competencies & Skills
- Relevant experience in casting machining and forging outsourcing with commercial experience
- Be able to discuss and understand details and tolerances on the ZF drawing
- Should understand the requiremenst on the CMM measurement result and methods and would manage the alignment measurement of the CMM between supplier and ZF
- Challenging supplier calculations and achieving cost reductions over the time
- Be able to discuss the suppliers choice on machines, steps and cutting tools and fixtures and have a cost optimal approach
- Depending on the cost optimal approach you should align on the outsourcing scope and interact with PE for the aligned drawing with tolerances, add on material and reference points
- Be able to manage the necessary support from ZF on toolings, fixtures outline and raw material supply 8only if the selected supplier is not a foundry and producing its own parts)
- Broad technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics
5. Qualification
- Master / Bachelor degree in Metallurgic Engineering or Master / Bachelor degree in Engineering or Economics with a vast metallurgic know how build up ‘by experience’.
- Understand the PPAP,APQP Process
- Management skill in the past is plus,
- Project management Skill is plus
6. Experience
- Technical background with min 5 years experience;
- Fluent in English, experience in
- Sourcing and Procurement, preferably in the power transmission or automotive.
