Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)

Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

-To handle daily counter/payment processing task as assigned by line manager/supervisor. To conduct instruction registration, distribution, scanning, follow-up, preparing voucher/payment instruments, day-end reconciliation and filing for payments as tasks assigned, ensuring all qualified payments are processed according to bank SLA.

-To comply with the requirement of group policies and standards, procedures and local regulations with prudent manner and high level risk control sense.

-To contact internal parties or customers and take necessary actions for the exceptions during GSC’s processing according to bank guidelines, such as insufficient balance, ID expired, payment referring RM, unclear instruction and etc. Keep close communication with GSC on processing of payments.

-To consolidate sub-branches’ funding reporting if necessary.

-Preparing regulatory returns according to bank procedure. Keep good communication with related business G41 and regulatory organizations.

-To backup other team member while he/she is on leave. To complete assigned ad hoc tasks and participate in special projects according to management instructions.

-Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor degree or above(recognized by the state).

Counter service experiences or operation experiences will be preferred;

Good understanding of local rules and regulations and internal guidelines;

Strong sense of responsibility and be able to work under pressure.

Good communication skills;

Good command of English and Microsoft Office, speaking standard Mandarin, Cantonese.
