JOB SUMMARY: Direct the day to day Food Service Operations, financial management - plan and manage all P&L components, maintain all Universal Resort standards - service, safety, show, sanitation, strategic planning, participate in global and division initiatives, partner with key departments.
During Resort Development:Assist in developing the Food Service Program, Operating Standards and Procedures that will be in place for the operation of this park. As necessary, be involved through the design and constructions process of the various food facilities throughout the resort.
? Manages and directs daily operation of the business through the department management team with a focus on staffing, revenue and margin generation, controls and performance. Responsible for the overall Guest and Team Member experience, communication of goals and expectations, and ensuring operating and safety standards are maintained. Interacts with Team Members, guests and key partners, monitor equipment and infrastructure needs, generate growth and efficiency objectives and plans. Responsible for adherence and interaction with applicable regulatory agencies and requirements.
During Resort Development:Contribute to overall food services program and development of all facets of the business.
? Develops and drives planning of new business opportunities, focusing on trends and changes in the market. Develops and manages 3rd party concessionaire opportunities, where applicable. Directs budgeting process and daily management of budgets, analyzing fluctuations in business units and instituting changes/enhancements as necessary. During Resort Development:Assists in market research with Food Service staff and other departments to understand the localmarket and culture to ensure that our menu offerings will be acceptable to our guests allowing us to meet our financial goals.
? Partner with key departments : Shared Services, Marketing & Sales, Staffing, Learning and Performance, Human Resources, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Tech Services, Visual, Security/Loss Prevention, Park Operations, Catering, Special Events, EHS, Entertainment; strategic planning, financial analysis and planning, budgets, inventory control, sanitation and safety, training and development, staffing, employee relations, menu planning and analysis, Capital planning, project work, event planning and execution and catering support.
During Resort Development:Be involved with all related departments in the development of our operating policies and procedures that will determine our basis for operating the resort.
? Drives the development of management team through continuous training and role modeling. Partners with all divisions in creating synergies that drive overall company goals and increased revenuesAchieve Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) goals and objectives. Develop Team Member Satisfaction action plans and implement and owns the Human Resources Planning (HRP) process..
During Resort Development:Be involved in the development of the Food Services and Park Wide training programs including what is required for food operators by any appropriate Government Agencies.
? Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Continuously scans the work environment by observing and listening to obtain information that addresses or anticipates the service needs of guests and fellow Team Members. Demonstrates active listening and effective questioning techniques, identifying options to satisfy the service needs of guests and Team Members. Based on the individual situations and desired results, selects the appropriate actions to efficiently meet or exceed the service expectation of guests or fellow Team Members.

EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: 7 -10 Years Director Level Management Experience in a Revenue Operations’ Division, in the theme park industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires the use of sound business judgment in coordinating the requirements and leading project teams. Conflict resolution and problem solving techniques required. Good in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Works with internal business clients and external vendors. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw graphs, and interpret spreadsheets. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to build and lead a project team. Some travel required to support business and client locations.
