Job Title: Inside Sales Supervisor, China (Fire Protection Product)

Job Summary:
Manage and motivate a team of Inside Sales Engineers and,-Representatives. You will report to the local CS/ Inside sales Supervisor with a dotted line reporting to the Regional inside Sales Leader.
The Candidate should preferably have a Special Hazards background and will support the customers by identifying their needs, offering standard and specific solutions/ equipment, and services. This in order to retain customers and maximize opportunities and their success ratio.
The ISS collaborates with outside sales, customer services, product management, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, adhering to Tyco’s product standards, quality standards and specifications.
In addition to requisite passion, skills and experience, the successful candidate will have a measurable track record in building and managing high performing sales teams.
The individual will play a key role in driving significant revenue for Tyco Fire Protection Products and help carve the path for this dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:
  1. Support the business in consistent delivery on aggressive revenue targets – commitment to the number and to deadlines. This in close cooperation with the outside sales team.
  2. Player/coach: Hands on with the team; very involved with sales calls, opportunity management, and strategy
  3. Sales, lead generation, quoting and quote follow up. Meet and Exceed targets.
  4. Coaching and support of employees involved in complex selling situations to help them develop and implement strategies resulting in attainment of sales objectives and meeting/exceeding customer requirements.
  5. Ability to negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling Tyco product value proposition (features and benefits).
  6. Support inside sales/ sales leader in implementing strategic initiatives and promoting a high energy, high activity environment
  7. Work with partners for maximum effectiveness and product expansion
  8. Hire, train, retain the right team to match our growth
  9. Manage performance reviews for direct reports
  10. Key point of contact for colleagues and clients, answering queries, providing basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications.
  11. Builds and maintains good relationships through Wholesale Distributors at all levels and coordinates new and repeat sales to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and account retention
  12. Extensive interaction with customers, partners and team via phone or mail
  13. Enquiry handling, prepare, send and follow up on quotations
  14. Listen, understand and convey customer requirements to solutions and business opportunities
  15. Provide reliable solutions for all commercial and basic technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  16. Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, service applications, engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  17. Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements of using specific products/ solutions.

Qualification required:
  1. Strong team leadership skills.
  2. Outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  3. Good project management, planning and prioritization skills.
  4. Strong gravitas and presence.
  5. Hands on mentality
  6. An ability to make an immediate and ongoing impact in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Enthusiasm for, and ability to strongly evangelize, Tyco’s value proposition.
  8. The ability to work with and through other functions within Tyco in order to build and execute on clearly defined strategies.
  9. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience required:
  1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of:
  2. +5 years’ experience in a sales/inside sales environment where success can clearly be demonstrated, of this 2 to 3 years must be as a supervisor/ manager.
  3. Successful quota attainment in a commissioned sales/inside sales management role.
  4. Building teams that fully leverage the market opportunity, seek new growth enablers, and drive revenue growth.
