Position Description

-JOB PURPOSE
--To build the profile and distribution of Company wine portfolio in key high influencer accounts, build the profile with trade customers and wine consumers in China, with a particular emphasis in East China Region, with immediate focus on Shanghai, Zhejiang Province (Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou) and Jiangsu Province (Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Kunshan)
--Be part of the team of Ambassadors to provide first class wine education for TWE employees, our distributors employees and customers across China

Key Responsibilities

-TWE's Wine Profile
--Responsible for the representation of Company and its Wine Portfolio at key industry, trade and consumer events in East China Region specifically and in other regional markets in China as required
--Responsible for seeking out new ways to increase the profile of Company wine portfolio and its individual brands in China
--Responsible for high level wine, food, and wine industry consultancy support where required
--Responsible for building knowledge and further promoting Company brand portfolio at relevant wine events
-Wine Education
--Responsible for facilitating effective wine education programs for local teams focusing on key initiatives
--Responsible for the alignment of internal tasting/education programs to national brand/business objectives and priorities
--Responsible for the creation of bespoke wine education programs for individual sales team members and teams
--Responsible for the successful delivery of wine education programs to key customers
-Wine Sales
--Responsible for creating and executing comprehensive customer plans with targeted high influencer accounts with an ultimate objective to build distribution and thus the profile of the Company wine portfolio
--Responsible for defining and delivering relevant category and brand campaigns with the targeted customer group
--Responsible for the executing agreed individual fine wine objectives within customer group
--Responsible for customer service levels being achieved to agreed levels

Position Requirements

-Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
-A minimum of 5 years' experience within Australian wine industry
-High level knowledge of world wines particularly New World countries (Australia, US and NZ)
-Detailed understanding of China retail, national account and on-premise sales channels
-Wine account management sells
-Conflict and resolution skills
-Advanced presentation skills
-Advanced negotiation skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects
-Wine industry commercial acumen
-Strong planning and organizational skills
-High level wine industry knowledge
