Principal Software Engineer (C++)
Location
Shanghai
Position Description
-Create technical design specifications based on system requirements.20%
-Convert design specifications into high quality working code within allocated time frame.40%
-Perform unit and system integration testing, resolve bugs and errors identified during all testing phases.20%
-Fully capable of using the Safety Products software development, process and design tools.10%
-Reverse engineers existing software modules easily to understand purpose and identify problems.5%
-Mentor junior engineers.5%
Position Requirements
-7-8 work experience on software development
-Strong .NET and C# programming and debugging skills
-Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, object oriented.
-Good English communication, both verbal and written.
-Strong preference with experience developing access control and video surveillance products.
-Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly.
-Experience on XML is a preference.
-Familiar with both PC and embedded design is a plus.
-Familiar with both Windows and Linux based design is a plus.
-Familiar with UML is a plus.
-BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
