Regional Product Marketing Manager

Position Description
-Lead identification of future global and regional product requirements from the region
--Systematically identify market opportunities for future product development
--Coordinate Industry Segment Platforms and support Global Product Prioritization Process that will define future product and application requirements for industries
-Work closely with Regional Product Managers to support the Product Management Processes (Regional Product Managers focus on processes from post-idea creation for product definition, through R&D, until Product Launch; they are also responsible for coordinating with Global Product Managers on product life-cycle management in the Region)
-Manage prioritization of product development needs in the region
-Be responsible for the market launch process in the region for new region-focused products
--Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams throughout the region to develop Industry and Product-level Campaigns and their relevant activities
--Cultivate and reinforce close cooperation with the company's HQ in Germany, specifically with Marketing and Product Management departments
--Define Pricing strategies in the region for new product lines to strengthen our market position
--Monitor and track Campaign performance across all campaigns in the region and drive necessary improvements
-Act as an "internal business driver" for 1-2 global Sales and Marketing campaigns in the region by directing and coordinating the activities in Sales and Marketing:
--Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
--Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
--Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
--Market intelligence - be the expert on your customers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition, how to win their customers; be the expert on the market trends, how this translate to product requirements of the future
--Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
--Performs the following duties personally or through coaching of product management staff in the countries
-Travel to Regional Centres, Customers, Trade Shows or Distributors
-Ad-hoc support for regional technical activities (e.g. Product workshop coordination, etc.)
Position Requirements
-Education Background in Engineering
-Relevant Experience of Developing Marketing Campaigns in similar industries
-Excellent Communication Skill in English
-Being able to work independently and drive for results
-Sales background from related industries highly preferred
