Position Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a progressive industry leader on an AP scale. Our client is integrating multiple dimensions of their business to support both short-term and long-term growth initiatives. This critical role will help to define their brand(s) though multi-channel marketing efforts from both business to business and business to consumer perspectives.

-Marketing Leader – Performance Films will:
--Provide overall leadership for marketing strategy development and execution with client business organization
--Drive effective use of marketing choices-based growth framework
--Integrate marketing, pricing, customer engagement strategy with business growth strategy
--Manage direct line reporting for market insight & strategy and dotted line reporting for marketing communications and market development reps
-Apply Branding and Marketing Principles to core business
--Gain commitment from Eastman's internal and external business partners
--Establish branding milestones
--Develop processes to extend Marketing Principles
--Provide Marketing leadership for client business
--Develop strategies and opportunities
--Collaborate across business with business and technology leaders to integrate marketing strategy with growth strategy
-Create a highly Functional Marketing Organization
--Develop and implement AP MI&S teams to align and enhance regional marketing capability in all regions.
--Assess skills and capability of managing direct reports; provides coaching and development
--Understand issues and/or concerns from key business partners
--Develop and provide training to help customer facing roles understand the use and importance marketing processes

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial, marketing or technical roles with a proven background in:

-Providing adaptive leadership: able to integrate situation assessment with key choices; develops options
-Action orientation and results focus
-Experience with consumer facing B2B markets
-Broad marketing experience including market research, communications, and strategy development
-Presenting visions/strategies/ideas/proposals in an effective manner
-Articulating ideas clearly and concisely
-Strong collaboration skills across multiple groups
-Manages multiple complex projects simultaneously
-Demonstrated results focus
-Project leadership or team membership
-Fundamental understanding of market analysis
-Knowledge of vendor relationship management
-Experience networking across large, matrixes organizations
-Strong leadership and HR best practices including team development and coaching
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Bringing a strategic mindset to role: able to synthesize marketing strategy into offer development that drive targeted behavior change
-Working with organizations that have a global footprint
-Bachelor’s degree is minimal requirement. Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
