Requirement:
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:

· Provide overall management and direction for the automation team.
· Lead the automation team to coordinate various projects developed by North Asia or local branch
· Optimize and develop operation process, recommend system enhancement proposals to cater to new requirements and improve productivity and upgrade customer service level.
· Coordinate to implement global and local systems, including system testing, training and trouble shooting

Specific responsibilities of the position:

· Always consider our process and productivity efforts with the customer in mind. The customer is the focus of everything we do and shall be so in our BPI efforts as well.
· Provide clear execution direction for all automation activities through the establishment and execution of a solid Damco Shenzhen annual milestone plan.
· Facilitate, promote, leverage major locally branch level driven projects and prioritize major automation requests.
· Achieve and exceed targets for company systems in terms of process improvement UP, scalability UP and costs DOWN.
· Build up and maintain good relations with various internal and external partners
· Support the best practice sharing between different origins.
· Manage the cost control and ensure the most cost efficient solution.
· Be key responsible for Damco business applications in Shenzhen branch:
- Deliver systems solutions which will either improve our productivity, communication and/or increase service quality.
- Responsible to ensure overall systems knowledge in our organization is adequate – think in alternatives to our current systems training – e.g.
e-learning.
· How do we get the most value out of the systems we have available and roll-out best solution, appointing the necessary resources and setting KPIs and objectives for persons involved. Regularly review/revise the set-up. Analyse and determine whether our current super-user system is the right set-up for our systems.
