REPORTS TO: VP of Marketing, United States, and MD China for China Activity
LOCATION: Wuxi, China, or Shanghai, China
Scope:
With emphasis on digital media, this position supports the ongoing development and execution of the company’s global marketing strategies in the APAC region. The Marketing Specialist participates in all matters relating to the sales pipeline growth, innovative marketing plans, related metrics, and industry related events. Specifics include integrated online and offline marketing campaigns, project management, social media management, copywriting, proofing and editing by leveraging the creative content development process.

Key duties include:
? Conduct the market research and analysis on end users and distribution channels
? Conduct the research on competitors and their products.
? Work on the leads generation and review the leads progress.
? Collect, refine, share, and present the materials on products applications, industry solutions, and best cases/lessons to teams internally and end users or distributors externally.
? Conduct new-product development research and support the product development
? Support the product pricing
? Manage online marketing campaigns; ensure consistency with overall marketing strategy
? Online Marketing - Media:
o Manage digital assets such as images or videos for use in electronic and/or print
o Web design – support textual and graphical elements for various facets of web sites
o Social – provide strategic insight and execute tactical improvements
o Paid-search – assist in the development and on-going performance of paid-search campaigns
? Responsible for the ongoing assessment of all marketing performance metrics including efficiency metrics, brand metrics, customer value metrics, and overall return on investment for all marketing initiatives
? Review product advertisements in both print and electronic media to ensure accuracy and favorable appeal of our products.
? Tradeshow support
? Support public affairs especially with related EHS agencies and participate in relationships development with business entities like insurance companies, design firms, EHS consulting and audit firms.
? Miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales, office and marketing-related objectives


Basic requirements:
This position requires a combination of creativity with clear understanding of actions to meet business objectives. Must have ability to operate with spirit of entrepreneurship within a culture of discipline to support development and adherence to standard work.
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, related Business Administration, E.H.S ( Environmental, Health, and Safety), or Engineering from an accredited educational institution
? Fluent written and spoken English is a must, Japanese or Korean as a plus.
? Minimum 2 year experience in marketing, or business administration
? Business acumen – possess insight to larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into overall strategy
? Technical aptitude – understand the nature and workings of tangible industrial products
? Experience in translating and communicating complex technical topics to execute the actions with easy-to-understand benefits.
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple obligations; meet deadlines while under pressure; self discipline
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience in creating, composing, writing, and editing materials for print and web – the writing process
? SEM (paid-search, SEO) experience, social media management experience a plus
? Understanding of inbound and outbound linking strategies
? Understanding of affiliate or referral marketing concepts
? Understanding of appropriate Web design and online capabilities; HTML understanding and experience with CMS, strict coding ability not required
? Team player – flexible, able to adjust to shifting priorities; positive “can-do” attitude
