Position Title: Project Engineer

Location: Shanghai Jiading

Reports to: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. As the primary interface to the home-based factory, leads and coordinates to quickly introduce assigned NPI projects or transfer products to Jiading Assembly Center.
2. Works closely and well connects with Home-based PDC and related site function teams to ensure NPI plan/ product transfer plan in each phase are executed per schedule.
3. Varified the market areas of selected products with Product Line and review the transferred product suitability for selected plant
4. Verifies and approves localized material and components with coordination from sourcing team;
5. Make sure that the investment plan and it's investment proposals been created and valited according to the needs of changes in production layout and infrastructure, assembly and testing tools, production equipment and other needs
6. Ensure that the logistic costs of product(s) with selected plant(s) been simulated and reviewed and plan for the the preparations of import & export logistics
7. Supports to define the product manufacturing strategy and assists in developing and implementing new and/or improved manufacturing processes to support new products assembly;
8. Estimates manufacturing cost during NPI/product transfer, and ongoing target costing input, life-cycle manufacturing cost ownership, and cost reduction implementation;
9. Ensures completeness and accuracy of all product engineering information and documentation before mass production
10. Working together with Production Dept to ensure production run smoothly and the issues that related to test, yield, quality, material, capacity, reliability and field returns, etc. be tracked and followed closely and be solved quickly
11. Works out NPI project plan and ensure assigned projects are on scheule and report the status to the main stakeholders and steering commitee
12. Other duties assigned

Qualification:
1. Bachelor Degree in mechanical or engineering or above
2. 3 years above of related working experience
3. Production / Assembly background
4. Experince to work on multinational enviroment
5. Ability to work well in and drive cross-functional teams
6. Proficient English
7. Good communication skill
8. Self starter
9. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
10. Ability to work well in and drive cross-functional teams
