Tech service delivery team is responsible for delivery tech solutions for various internal projects
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for the role of Big Data development on the quality project. The successful candidate should have big data project delivery experience including but not limited Hadoop MapReduce, Spark, HiveQL. He/She will be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. They will be an eager learner willing to learn batch run.
Responsibilities:
？ MapReduce/Spark job development
？ Production issue resolving on demand
？ ETL Framework Development
？ Front End reporting development
Role Expectations:
The Big Data Developer will be expected to conduct the range of quality analyses and developing activities under direct or moderate supervision, to ensure that system solutions meet specified standards, requirements, performance metrics, and SLAs. The Big Data Developer should participate in new data source on boarding, ETL batch processing Design and development, Data quality checking rule design and development, BI reporting development. He/She will report to the development Lead.
Required skills and experience:
？ 4+ Years Experience in UNIX operating system
？ 4+ Years of Shell experience
？ 4+ years of Java development experience
？ 3+ Years of Big Data development experience on Hadoop/Spark
？ Fast learner
？ Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
？ work well both as individual contributor and a team member
？ Control-M/Python skills will be preferred.
Good to have skills and experience:
？ Experience in Tableau Report design and development.
Note: we are looking for hardcore, strong developers. For good candidate, other condition can relaxed ( No financial experience is OK, cannot speak fluent English is OK )
