Amazon's Kindle Customer Service (CS) team is seeking a collaborative, hands-on Kindle Content Developer to create and manage highly digestible content that's easy to find and use both for a customer and a customer service agent.


Main Responsibilities:
· Use superior communication and leadership skills to evangelize content standards that reflect the voice of Amazon
· Take full responsibility for the progress and launch of multiple projects, from design phase to implementation from content perspective.
· Optimize support content for usability and accessibility while maintaining a high bar for quality
· Use a combination of data analysis, user research, benchmarking, and content audits to make content decisions and orchestrate content development
· Use sound business judgment to make quick decisions under pressure in ambiguous circumstances, balancing advocacy with a need for action
· Build knowledge using clear, concise, visually appealing, and customer-focused content
· Use superior writing skills and extraordinary attention to detail to evaluate, uphold, implement, and evangelize content standards that reflect the voice of Amazon
· Manage several complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a sense of hustle
· Identify opportunities to improve content development processes and tools

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy, and sometimes ambiguous environment. They will be creative and analytical problem solvers with a passion for scalable content strategy, ability to pull and interpret data, and an interest in technology and Amazon’s digital products and services. We require a demonstrated ability to plan, research, communicate, and to set priorities, handle multiple projects, explore scalable solutions and meet tight deadlines.

Basic Qualifications
· Excellent oral and verbal English is a must
· 3+ years of related professional experience
· 3+ years of program management experience
· Exceptional writing skills in both Chinese and English
· Active communicator and ability to influence others
· Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
· Experience working effectively on a cross-functional, multi-lingual team
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, technical environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
· Experience working with a CMS platform, DITA, and Trisoft

Preferred Qualifications
· Intermediate HTML and/or XML skills
· Experience with online retailing support
· Experience with localization processes and tools
· Background in Operational Excellence or Lean
