YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Job Descriptions:
? Key technical person to integrate Hanita with the North AP & South AP teams of Avery with solutions from Hanita’s Print and Industrial divisions.
? Providing all-round technical support to customers in matching their needs and wants to Hanita’s solutions.
? Convince customers to understand the features, advantages, benefits and ROI of Hanita’s products over competition. “Soft technical selling” is a part of a technical role.
? Provide training for AP sales team in understanding applications, technologies and functionality of products.
? To lead in formulating a local technical strategy for the company.
? Be a member of global R&D team, acquire new knowledge and applied to its effect in supporting the business team in China/ AP.
? An important team member to assist the Country Manager in achieving the company’s overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
? To develop an annual technical support plan with defined targets.
? Help generate a full set of technical documents and materials related to “selling VIP panel”.
? Provide the technical-bridge between customer and Ci3 for quality of envelope produced at Ci3.
? To answer all technical enquiries from new and existing customers.
? Be able to understand fully the technical papers/ reports issued from parent company and to present them accurately to customers.
? To write technical reports in local language and present them when needed.
? Be the first contact to handle customer complaint. Resolve it locally and if not possible, escalate to parent company by following the SOP for complaint reporting procedure. Follow-through on the generation of 8D corrective action report. Present to customer and close the complaint. Where complaint is justified, work with Country Manager/ Quality Dept from parent company on the commercial compensation amount.
? Work with global R&D team in identifying opportunities for new product development that has attractive ROI.
? Translation of technical documents to aid communication.
? Be fully aware of related market and industry development, provide situational analysis and make technical suggestion or recommendation for changes within Hanita (if applicable).
? Support and organize technical related trips made by employees from parent company.
Activities:
? Perform the day-to-day technical activities in support of the business goals set by the Country Manager.
? Be in close contact with the global R&D department. Acquire new knowledge and provide internal training.
? Address all technical issues raised from customers with utmost urgency. Work with parent company to find resolution if needed.
? Arrange and make independent technical visit on customers. Maintain a good technical relationship with the technical groups at the customer. Provide technical insights to Country Manager in order to formulate a customized strategy for each customer.
? Arrange and host technical seminars for customers. Provide training on products, applications and related technology.
? Create an application lab concept utilizing test facilities at Ci3 and VIP partner as well as NUAA lab to provide on-site customer technical support services.
? Visit related trade shows and report on the findings. Provide a situational analysis and make recommendation.
? Make demo and sales tool for use during presentation to customers.
Measurement of Success:
? Making effective technical contribution to enable the business team to meet and exceed annual sales and profit budget.
? Implementation and accomplishing of goals set in the technical strategic plan.
? Creation of new customers as a result of successful new product or new application development.
? Achieving customer’s satisfaction due to good technical services rendered.
? Helping the company minimize losses with good handling on customer’s quality complaint.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
? Bilingual in Chinese & English, both written and spoken. Additional 3rd language ability in Japanese or Korean will be huge advantage.
? Good technical presentation skills.
? Good IT skills.
? Extensive travel needed within China. Occasional travel on overseas trip.
