Job Title: Staff/Senior Software Engineer
Working Place: Beijing/Shanghai
Position Description:
This position will be responsible for Linux system application software development for HXT’s ARMv8 based processor targeting data center server market. The engineer will work in HXT’s Software & System Group in Beijing.
Main Responsibility:
- Developing Hadoop / Spark / Map Reduce applications on HXT’s ARMv8 based processor
- Benchmark workload and Optimize Hadoop/Spark/HBASE performance running on ARMv8 processor.
- Responsible for research and realization of the machine learning algorithm based on the level of hundreds of millions of training data;
- Responsible for research and implementation of the large-scale machine learning framework;
- Research of high value of big data and the relevant mathematical modeling.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4-7 years of software development experience using Linux or UNIX operating systems
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark or any other distributed system
- Linux / Unix administration experience
- Programming experience with any of the Hadoop tools (HDFS, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Scoop, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience with implementing a project in Hadoop area
- Experience in working with databases: Teradata, DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
- At least familiar with one of the programming languages like SQL, R, Python and Scala
- Programming experience with any of the Hadoop tools (HDFS, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Scoop, Kafka, etc.) is plus.
Education Requirement:
- M.S or Ph.D. degree with major on Computer Science, EE or Automation etc
