Job Description
Mechanical Design for test development
General Requirement
1. College or above degree, major in mechanical design and automation or mechanical related disciplines, minimum 5 years of experience in the field of mechanical design. MSME degree or the qualification certificate of engineer approved by the provincial or ministerial administrative departments is preferred.
2. Ability of designing complex test fixtures according to the customer requirement independently. Good capacity to adjust test fixtures independently and rich experience to solve the fixture issues in the production line.
3. Experienced in Pro-E, Auto CAD tools for mechanical design (2D, 3D). familiar with all kinds of common mechanical structure design, the common metallic and non-metallic materials have certain understanding;
4. Fluency in spoken and written English.
5. Good communication and team work, and be willing to work hard. Have automation equipment design and hardware mold design experience is preferred
Position Responsibility
1. Design and develop new test fixtures according to the production requirement; help manufacturers to solve potential problems.
2. Under the leading of manager (supervisor), guide engineers and technicians to resolve arising various problems of fixtures in production or test process; have good capacities in technical improvement, upgrades or technical research to the existing fixtures in order to help production to improve the efficiency.
3. Evaluate the cost of test fixture, and contact the purchase department to quote and ensure fixture delivery.
4. Train Engineers or technicians how to use the fixtures rightly in the production line. Guide technicians or repair staffs to fixtures routine maintenance.
5. Complete other temporary tasks assigned by department leader.
