Responsibilities
Client Management
? Understand the client’s business drivers and ensure benefits realization for the client
? Understand the Clients culture, capabilities, team structure and take decisions to ensure success for the client
? Offer creative solutions beyond the expectations of the client with regard to ideation, additional media options, other opportunities.
Store Assessment
? Research brand and competitor activities on Tmall, JD and other eCommerce platforms.
? Understand and integrate data analytics in creating or executing any optimization activities in client’s eCommerce or CRM platform.
? Oversee documentation of tone and voice for project/engagement (e.g. web site, campaign) and successfully sells ideas to clients.
? Set creative vision for advancement of the brand and the store.
? Considered a thought leader to client and internal teams and defines best practices or standards that are used across engagements. Presents findings to senior clients and explain creative recommendations.
? Leads team in development of rules appropriate for the brand and the audience of the medium.
? Makes overall branding recommendations when needed.
Strategy & Planning
? Work with the director of ECC and data analyst to frame business problems and develop creative briefs. Present solutions and recommendations.
? Set direction for innovative ideas, angles, and solutions.
? Co-facilitate brainstorming and conceptualization activities, and makes strategic choices about what to move forward.
? Work closely with data analyst, TP team and digital marketing team to co-create integrated solutions for client.
? Act as SME (consulting on best practices, reviewing work and suggesting changes to improve the effectiveness of the campaign) to both internal and client teams with proven results.
Concept Development & Presentation
? Oversees team in development of ideas based on criteria in creative brief.
? Takes risks and offers new and innovative guidance to team and new ideas to clients. Provides rationale for concepts.
? Consistently presents and sells ideas through to account and senior client.
? Develops outline and story for the presentation of existing concepts/directions.
? Provides strategy content and rationale for final deck.
? Proactively seeks out/suggests new solutions in presentation style and/or programs.
Concept Execution
? Lead all Creative work in the development of a quality solution for a small-to-medium size project.
? Oversees concepts and visual executions, ensuring adherence to quality standards
? Acts as a mentor and helps others push their work beyond perceived limits.
? Takes risks when considering solutions.
? Presents and sells creative recommendations.
Planning, Tracking & Estimating
? Track progress according to the plan created for the project (conducts Design Review and Creative Status meetings as needed), and reports status to the broader engagement leadership.
? Make changes to creative plans, staffing levels, or deliverables as required throughout the course of the project.
Business Development
? Participate in new business pitches, develop new business, and identify organic growth opportunities
Practice & Capability Development
? Attract, recruit and retain talent to grow the business.
? Identify new tools, methods, and techniques that evolve for the larger community at Sapient.
? Enhance the Sapient brand by driving award submissions and participating in internal thought leadership initiatives
? Develop and review accessible how-to guides and process guides for the scope of services
? Write and publish articles present at conferences
? Mentor team members in the business.
Requirements
? Individual needs to have a minimum of 7 years digital and eCommerce experience in creative division.
? Must have Tmall store experience, ideally in cosmetic category
? Have worked in 4A’s digital agency for at least 4 years experience.
? Expert in Art, Design and UX
? Deep understanding of Tmall& JD activities and capabilities for brands
? identifying and forecasting emerging trends in eCommerce industry
? Ability to work with multiple stakeholders while maintaining strong professional relationships
? Ability to provide inputs into strategic plans and convert to implementation
? Good at establishing & managing client relationships
? Good oral and written communication skills
? Presentation skills
? A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set
? Ability to convert strategic plans into implementation
? Ability to understand the client’s needs (stated) and clarify thinking (surfacing latent needs) and connect to the overall vision.
