s Country EHS Manager, you will provide strong support two plants in China region, and ensure compliance to national and company EHS requirements to achieve operation excellence.
Key responsibilities:
monitor the updates and development of existing and new local regulations, actively involve in issue management
continuously improve the EHS performance, EHS awareness and EHS culture
build and implement EHS management system that includes policy, processes, procedures, checking and evaluation schemes
provide EHS consultation and advice to support local operations in complying EHS needs
support / coordinate audits to fulfil global goals / requirements, business needs, e.g. supplier EHS assessment, and legal requirements
steer country harmonization in EHS performance and EHS standards at all sites and offices. collaborate with global EHS to achieve global harmonization efficiently and effectively
identify training needs, develop training programs and / or deliver trainings
cost management, team management and resource planning
Key requirements:
As a Key role in the organisation, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior management teams.
university degree in engineering or science, preferably in occupational safety / industrial engineering / safety management or related discipline
at least 8-year experience as a plant/site/ facility/maintenance manager or EHS specialist
EHS experience in multi-national enterprise is preferred

conflict management
communication and interpersonal understanding
