Main Duties
As a Test Analyst, the successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties to a high level of competence:
? Test Scenarios / Case analysis: Produces test scenarios and cases based on business requirements / functional specifications and / or working closely with business analysts. Participates in test case reviews and supports determining test case execution priorities in line with the HSBC risk based approach.
? Manage Communications: Build cohesive relationships within the test team, across the project team, and extended programme resources, to understand the XFOS, its contribution to BSM, and to perform their role effectively.
? Test Execution: Performs test execution in line with the test plan produced by the Test manager and the test lead, records the appropriate level of test evidence and provides timely updates on progress. Applies the appropriate test techniques to ensure that the highest standards of quality assurance are adhered to.
? Defect Management: Participate and also when required run defect management meeting and ensure that defects are logged on a timely basis and the appropriate level of information is recorded. Works closely with BA’s and developers to support timely investigation and resolution. Identifies appropriate test cases to ensure that the defect resolution is satisfactory and records evidence within QC.

Skills Required
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
? Test Analyst with an overall testing experience of at least 5 years.
? Experience of working with the Front office.
? Experience of different test phases, e.g Unit testing / SIT / UAT.
? Good knowledge of Quality Centre ALM,( creating test cases , raising defects etc )
? Experience in running defect management meeting.
