Job Description: Assistant Display & Graphics
Department activities:
The Display & Graphics department is a sub department of the VM department and operated directly under the VM director.
The department is responsible for managing the standards of display and visual communication. The main concept standards are made by external designs. The department adapts these concepts to make the final designs. The displays and visuals are used by the shops, mall’s, franchisers, shop builders and own staff etc.
For executing the project the department communicates in- & externally with malls staff, franchisers, own department staff and others.
Display department also has the relations with the suppliers that produce the photos/visuals. The full process from ordering till invoice approval is carried out, by the department. Quality and quantity control as well as order tracking is managed by them.
For these activities regular visits to suppliers and shops need to be made.
Function description:

1. Making displays, visuals and documentation
2. Administration
3. Ordering & follow-up
4. Quality & Quantity checks
5. Communication
6. On side work
Responsibly:
1. Design the displays, visuals and paper communications
2. On side work for any form of displays
3. Quality & quantity control
4. Professional communication
5. Correct design standards usage
6. Clear reporting to the head of dept.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
University level graphic design or other creative direction but clearly with main interest making visual displays.
Personality:
1. Is a hard worker that can separate main and sub issues.
2. Can work in a team spirit and can accept critic from anyone in the team. Not easy frustrated by set-back, but will come back more strong.
3. Practical personality (hands-on)
4. Honest.
5. Has a private situation that allows him/her to put much energy in the job and will be supported by family.
Skills:
1. Speaks some English
2. Soft-ware knowledge:
a) Adobe PP, Illustrator (& Indesign)
b) autodesk-CAD (solidworks)
c) 3D max
d) MS-Excel, - Word
