Project Engineer
Application Center Asia


Job description
As Project Engineer in Application Support and Development Dept. you will take responsibility to run ACA internal projects which are identified within Application Center Asia. You will be the member of Global Team Application Support and Development. You will lead the project from start to the end by plan and get the resource from other teams, such as design team, programming team, purchase team and marketing team.

Internal projects are important parts in Application Support and Development Department, which includes ACA showroom improvement work, APC standard solution localization, Marketing activities, Global product catalogue development, APC parts cost localization, etc.

Mission
Your mission is to lead diverse resource from different teams to reach the internal projects targets.

You will be responsible for:

Project tasks identifications
Project Schedule preparing, track, updating to related Colleagues, Project Cost control
Set up meeting regularly with internal resource/team members to review project status, and motivate them to finish work according to your plan
Flag up the issue to Managers when it happens
Communicate with Sales for marketing activities
Visit on customers site with sales to understand different kinds of applications, understand their advantage and disadvantage
Discuss with sales or proposal engineer to understand the customer needs
Communicate with oversea colleagues to get help if necessary

This position reports to the Manager Application Support and Development Dept. in ACA

Experience requirements
The successful candidate should have the following experience.
Experience in engineering project management /coordination would be beneficial
Experience in Mechanical Design and manufacturing is a must
Experience in product marketing will be beneficial

Knowledge
Knowledge of Motor Vehicle and/or General Industry segments are a plus
Understand mechanical and electrical drawings
Know the basic project management skills
Analytical problem solving skills

Educational requirements
Engineering Degree in Mechanical
Good English(spoken & written), Chinese is a must (Mandarin)

Customer oriented attitude
Easy to communicate
